Scary Technology Contest

Hey everyone,

Are you trapped in a house haunted by once useful, but now useless, gadgets and gizmos?  Is your outdated technology truly scary – maybe a VCR that eats tapes, a screeching dial-up modem, a dryer that devours socks, or a laptop that could double as a headstone?  Fear not, because Best Buy® can help!

Between October 7th and October 26th, 2009 we’re inviting you to participate in our Scary Technology contest for a chance to win a Home Theater makeover from Insignia™ and Rocketfish, with complete installation provided by Geek Squad (a total value up to $3,500).  We’re looking for original photos of the most terrifying technology in your home (or a friend’s home!), accompanied by a 140-character caption that brings your photo to life.  To enter – and for full contest details – make sure to stop by the official contest website:
