24 inch LED Monitor not recoginzed after Macbook waking up from sleep

Had this problem a while ago, thougth it was fixed but never actually solved.  Just had to work around the problem.

Current setup: Apple MacBook Pro retina (mid 2014) plugged directly into monitor via HDMI cable.

Monitor Model:  NS-24EM51A14

The Laptop (MacBook Pro) is connected to the monitor directly through an HDMI cable (no adapters).  Signal is good and led power light on monitor is blue.  When laptop goes to sleep, signal turns off on monitor and led power light turns to orange on monitor.  When laptop wakes up from sleep the signal is not sent back to the monitor and the monitor will not turn on again.  Monitor LED light remains orange and "HDMI No Signal" displayed on monitor.

Only solution i have found is to unplug power supply from the back of the monitor, wait a few seconds, and plug the power supply back in.

Please help!!!
