I'm having an issue with an infocast 3.5 where the device keeps rebooting.

It reboots multiple times never making it out of the insignia green boot screen, there are ocassions when it does, and it will boot into the OS but after a couple of miniutes it will reboot again. 

I haven't done anything to the software/hardware this just started happening all of a sudden.

Hello Ricochet121,

I would recommend restoring the 3.5" Infocast to default settings. This can be done by following these steps:

1. Turn off the Infocast.
2. Hold a finger on the screen while turning the Infocast back on. This will bring up the special options menu.
3. Press Restore Factory Settings. Then press OK to confirm the reset.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish the reset.

If you have any further issues or this fails to resolve your problem please let me know.

I was trying to do that but when it would go throught the loading special options prompt it would reboot rather than load. 

Some how it's stopped rebooting and running normally now. I'm not sure what was causing it, but I left it unplugged for a day. Maybe it was an overheating issue causing the reboots?

I'll keep monitoring the unit and will try your suggestion again before updating this thread.
