Monitor Out of Range

I'm getting an out of range error on my computer monitor.  I've done some research about this, and everything I've read says I'm using an unsupported resolution.  However, I'm running two of the same monitor, and it never happens on my secondary screen, and changing the resolution back and forth between resolutions eventually gets the main monitor to stay on in 1600x900.  Anyone have any info on this?

Hello smits586,

Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!

Can you provide the model number for the Insignia product that you are using? It should start with NS-.

Re: Monitor Out of Range

Hello smits586,

Thank you for responding!

That error message usually cooresponds to a refresh rate issue. How do you have these monitors connected to the computer? Does the computer have two VGA outputs or are you using some sort of adapter? If you switch which monitor is connected where, does the issue stay with this monitor or does it stay with that output?

This monitor supports a signal that is at 1600 X 900 resolution @ 60 Hz. In the computer settings, make sure the settings are set to these numbers.
