Shoutcast Problem

Is anyone else having problems with Shoutcast?  I have four Infocast 8's and all bring up the app, but the station display is blank and, although you are able to enter a search, it returns nothing.  Powering off and on to reload the dashboard does not help.  Anything I should try?

Thanks

Re: Shoutcast Problem

We have the same problem with our two I8's--it started a couple of days ago.

Re: Shoutcast Problem

Both of mine just started working, but they now require that a search string be entered before Shoutcast will list station choices--I don't think that was needed before.

Re: Shoutcast Problem

Thanks pwest, looks like mine are working as well and they seem to have retained the last search.  I guess whatever servers were down came back up, but I found it strange that shoutcast on my ipod touch continued working while these were down.  I even updated my I8's with the latest Chumby 8 firmware and even though it didn't make any difference with shoutcast, everything else appears to be working!

Re: Shoutcast Problem

I updated to the chumby software, too.  All works well, except I miss the 'sleep timer' funchtion that the I8 has to turn the 'radio' off after a pre-set duration.

Re: Shoutcast Problem

I noticed the missing sleep timer as well.  I wonder why they removed that functionality, but perhaps they'll include it in a later release.  I thought you might be able to accomplish something akin to a sleep timer under the scheduled tasks section, but even though they allow you to schedule a particular music channel and station, they don't  have any options as to when to stop playing.  I wonder if they take user requests on the chumby site?
