I notice they added this service to the actual Chumby itself.
If you did this, I could throw away my AM radios, because right now I cannot get the local talk AM WTAM on the device, despite the fact that the station has an internet stream.
SHOUTCAST is great except if you want anything like US based content and up to the minute news (which is the sort of thing that seems to be lacking here).

Totally agree that it would be great to have iheartradio on this device. Shoutcast has a few gems but US content is very much lacking and it's not so easy finding something useful. An official last.fm app would also be nice, but I think I can live with Pandora.
I've had the Infocast for a few days. The device clearly has a lot of possibility based on the hardware & will be great fun for tinkering. Hoewever, the interface design seems to have a way to go before this would have wide appeal. For example, if you want to walk up to the device and play a specific audio stream from shoutcast then view an image of the local weather radar then switch back to the clock, you can do it, but it takes a bit of effort and a lot of fumbling around.
I tend to be an early adopter of gadgets and like the many of us, submit them to the "wife usability test". Windows media center and the home automation system generally passed; the current interface on this device does not. I totally enjoy sharing new gadgets with my friends, but I'm not sure how to show off this device with the current interface since most of the novel features are "under the hood". Something like a custom home screen that shows a clock/active audio stream and "short-cut buttons" to favorite audio streams or apps would be nice. In this mode, pressing the top button could return the user from the selected app to the home screen/clock.
My perception is that the user interface is set up to position this device as an internet-enhanced picture frame with fresh online content. From my standpoint, a device like this has more mass-appeal as an information appliance, where there are more options to call up directed information or play specific audio streams quickly. In the short term, more functional home screen with a clock and short cuts to up to 5 frequently used apps and 5 frequently played audio streams would be a huge help and not too difficult to code. One great thing about this device is that it can evolve over time with the same hardware.

Here's another vote for I Heart Radio. It's the only way I can listen to 2 of my favorite radio stations on my Chumby One.

Over at the Chumby forums they're saying the lack of music options on the BB8 found in a normal Chumby is purely an Insignia choice and all the needs to happen is for them to give the okay to get it on a future update. So here's another vote added for all the music options on a regular Chumby to get put back into the both Infocasts.

I just got this today and hears another vote for I heart radio on Infocast 8. I;m still looking for a way to stream podcast on here as well.

iHeartRadio is already on the Infocast 3.5". Please bring it to the Infocast 8". Thank you.

What could the possible reason be for not including the mystream app, mediafly, and the iheartradio app? Please bring this device up to date with the rest of the Chumby world.
