Insignia 8" Tablet

Hi I was wondering if you would be able to help me with the problem I am having with my tablet. Ok so it turns on but when I want to login in won't let me. The keyboard pops up but when I type in my password nothing happens. If you could please help me I would appreciate it thank you.

You may have to tap inside the password field again- make sure there is a blinking cursor in it before you start typing.

Insignia 11.6" Tablet

Hello,

 

I bought a new Tablet from best buy last week and when I open it, it says that i should impute user name and password, which i never set it up. could you please help me with how i can reset this set up? i am suspecting that this Tablet has been used by some one before. i would really apreciate your help on this.

Can you provide the model number for your tablet? It will start with an NS-.

 

The only option we would have would be to do a factory reset. Knowing the model will help with finding that process.

Thank you for responding!

Doing this reset will completely wipe all the data from the tablet. No personal information will be on the tablet, it will be like it is coming out of the box for the first time. I understand this is exactly what you want/need, just putting the disclaimer for future users who may read this thread. 

 

  1. With the tablet on, hold down the shift key on the keyboard and tap on the power icon, then tap "Restart."
  2. When the "Choose an Option" screen appears, release the shift key and tap on "Troubleshoot."
  3. Tap on "Reset your PC."
  4. The reset process will take several minutes. After the reset is completed, the tablet will walk you through an initial setup of the tablet again.
