I have a Insignia digital to analog converter box NS-DXA2 which came with remote NS-RC5NA-14, this is hooked to a Sharp Aquos LC-32G4U TV. I would like to progam the converter box so the tv remote will control the box. The sharp remote model number is GA263WJSA. What code do I use? If, this is not possible can I program the NS-RC5NA-14 to turn the tv on and off?

Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!
Why are you using the NS-DXA2 with the Sharp TV? The reason that I ask is the TV in question does have a Digital Tuner built in, which would allow the TV to take care of decoding Antennae signal, and displaying that in HD quality. The other plus side is by controlling channels directly through the Sharp tuner, it completely negates the use of the Insignia remote control.

This tv was built in 2004 if it has a built in digital tuner I have not figured out how to use it. Any suggestions? I have spoken with Sharp and they are wishy washy on the subject.

Thank you for responding!
In further research, it doesn't look like this TV is digital ready, which is rather surprising. At this time this is the only flat panel HD capable TV that doesn't have a digital tuner installed, from what I can find of the specifications. In terms of the remote programming, you may want to see if their remote has a "Code Search" feature to let you try all the codes built into the unit. If their remote will not control the converter, you may need to look for a Universal remote that has both Sharp TV and Insignia converter box listed as supported brands.
