NS-CAHBTEB01 won't turn on after charging

I was listening to some music last night when the headphone died so I put it on the charge; it had a red light like always... When I woke up the light was blue so I took the headsets to work with me to play just on my break. When I tried to turn it on it wouldn't do anything, there was no light on and the European lady wasn't telling me the device is on or connected . After work I recharged thinking maybe it hadn't charged fully last night but sure enough as soon as I take it off the charger the light goes off and when I put it back on the charger it's red like it hasn't been charged at all. Pls hel I'm lost without my music and have no backup headsets Smiley Sad(

Make sure the unit is fully charged, leaving it on the charger for at least 4 hours. When you take it off and turn it on do you get any lights at all? Try pressing and holding the talk button (shaped like a phone) and this should put the device into pairing mode and the LED should flash red and blue? Is the headset responsive at all?

 

Do you know when and where you purchased the unit? Do you still have the receipt?

I am having the same problem and I have charged for four hours and press and held the talk button and still nothing. So what could it be?

Do you get any lights on the headset at all? Check the power switch on the right side and make sure this is turned to the on position. Try charging the headphones in a different outlet overnight. 

 

Do you know when and where the product was purchased? Do you still have the receipt?

I have the same model BT wireless, NS-CAH...,  and have had the same difficulty after I recharged it. I have had it slightly over a month. Up to now it ;has worked perfectly.   It simply won't turn on now.  I've checked usb cables to make certain they are not defective.  No lights.  Nothing. 

 

Is there any way to reset the device?

Make sure you try to charge the unit in multiple outlets for at least a couple of hours at a time. After the charge for a bit, try turning them on with the on/off slide switch. Do you get any light at all? 

 

Where was the headset purchased? Do you still have the receipt?

I regret to say that it still doesn't work.  The blue light did come on eventually after charging.  I slid the switch to on, tried to put it in bluetooth search mode and again there was nothing.  I purchased the device from Best Buy.

At this point I would recommend taking the headset and receipt into Best Buy, to the Geek Squad counter, for warranty evaluation. They will take a look at the headset and move forward with warranty if necessary.

I have the exact same problem that started suddenly. I think this might be a widespread issue.

 

I turn the headset off and connect it to the charger every night. The red light comes on when I connect it to the charger. In the morning, I take the headset off the charger and attempt to turn it on. No lights, no voice, no response from any button. It's as if the battery has completely run down.

 

Charging it a second time for a half hour or so seems to make it responsive again. Charging it for a minute or two doesn't. Once I can get it to respond I get the same all-day battery life I've previously had.

 

The charger is hooked up to a multi-USB charging adapter, which is plugged into a power strip. The power strip also feeds my computer, which is fully charged every night, and the multi-USB adapter also feeds my iPad, which fully charges overnight as well. I still have the iPad connected when I attempt the second charge so it's not a matter of one device drawing too much power away from the other.

Try charging the headset in a different outlet and use a different USB charging cable if you have one. See if this makes a difference on how it responds in the morning.
