Nothing happens when you hit the connect/continue button after selecting WiFi and enter in the WiFi password. The App has been updated to 3.1.15.

I followeed the directions in the article and in your post on 4/16/18 and still cannot get the plug to work.   Very frustrated!

Thank you so much for trying the trouble shooting steps. Our support teams were unable to replicate the issues with the troubleshooting steps you provided. Can you please share which device/phone you have the Insignia Connect App on? We’d be happy to continue trying to find a fix for this issue once that information is provided.

 

It’s been suggested to try the following troubleshooting steps to see if you can get further in the process.

  1. Go to the phone’s Wi-Fi network settings. Select their home’s 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network and in its settings, select “Forget This Network”
  2. Re-join their phone to network and this time, make sure it is set to Auto-Join
  3. Factory-reset the plug and follow the FAQ instructions

 

Please let me know if you have any success with the troubleshooting tips, and I look forward to hearing which devices you’re using so I can get that information passed along.

I got it to work!!!  I had to delete and reinstall app.  Then had to make sure Best Buy password was right.
