And just purchased the following Blue Ray player: NS-BRDVD3
and would like to set up the Insignia TV remote NS-RC02U-10A to operate the Blue Ray player (remote ID - BD003) and am unable to locate the correct code.
You can teach the learning remote for that TV to control the NS-BRDVD3. Page 34 of the owners manual (page 38 0f the PDF), gives detailed instructions. You will have to program each function, one button at a time, but it's not difficult.
I understand I can do this manually, button by button (and do appreciate you pointing this out) but that is a rediculous thing to have to do especially when:
they are all from the same manufacturer
they have "assured me" (as I spoke with them that night) they would have the code figured out shortly
I also want to configure the system for use on my Comcast remote (my wife has a habit of loosing remotes).
