I picked up a Insignia 46" LED-LCD (NS-46E560A11) the other day from best buy shelf display...great deal, and its been pretty good until i turned on my 360...lag, lag and more lag.. I turned off the Insignia 120hz motion, and as well as Adaptive Contrast and the Dynamic Contrast Ratio but no such luck. So i figured it was the 120hz Rocketfish HDMI cable i bought, so i picked up the AudioQuest FOREST HDMI. No Significant Difference. There is no DCM or Game Mode on this TV...CoD sucks and i need a fix
Next, The 120hz Auto motion on this Set is terrible, there is so much judder and when the picture on the screen moves fast it is VERY noticeable. when i thought it might have been from the HDMI cable as well, after replacing it with the audioquest, still no difference. So i tried different HDMI ports....nothing...i tried using my PS3 for Bluray.....same judder...i tried other components...Cable..everything that is displayed..same **bleep** thing..
I know im probably expecting too much...but i hope maybe someone could give me some advice
I have 3 days left to return it, and i need to know what i should do..
Last Question.... IS THERE A FIRMWARE UPDATE for this tv!? because like many have asked...no one has answered in other posts... it does have a USB port..
Thank you

Hello Kil0111,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
First of all, I would like to deeply apologize about the delay on our answer; I understand that in this case, the time is really important for you. And I am very sorry to also hear you are having these inconveniences with the TV.
In this case, as you have already turn off the Advanced Video option in the TV menu, and the lag and vibration remains, I would recommend you to also set the "Noise Reduction" feature to High.
And as the lag is entirely due to video processing, let me give you some tips to have into account:
-Avoid "Upscaling". As the source device will attempt to increase the resolution to a higher one than what the source is designed to, it could cause a sound lag. So, you should set the output resolution to the maximum that the game or movie can be played.
For example, if you are trying to play games from a previous gaming station in a newer station (PS2 game in your PS3), the gaming console may be doing an upscaling causing severe lag.
-Have the latest firmware update on the sources (Game consoles).
-As you have turn off the Insignia 120Hz motion, verify that the Xbox and PS3 are set to 60 Hz as well.
-I also recommend you to turn off the game consoles Advanced video settings that could be causing the lag.
In the case of the PS3, here are my recommendations:
Video Settings menu- BD / DVD Video Output Format (HDMI) set to Automatic- BD 1080p 24 Hz Output (HDMI) set to OFF- DVD Wide Display set to "Pan and Scan"- Cross Color Reduction Filter set to OFF- RGB Full Range set to "Limited"- Y Pb / Cb Pr / Cr Super-White set to OFF- Deep Color/Colour Output set to OFF
In case of the Xbox 360, I do not have the information of its video setting handy, but I advise you to go through the and check the video features to avoid video upscaling from there.
If it was useful, and you liked it, Kudo it!
Thank you,
Guille
