Thank you. I'll give that a try and see how it works out.

It does work using component connectors instead of the HDMI. However, the HDMI should work.
Is there a solution for this yet or will Insignia swap this out for a similar model that works correctly?

Hello all,
I apologize for the long delay in reply, but I’ve just received the final analysis or this issue from our engineers.
Here's what's happening with your TV: Some third-party devices pass a RGB signal over the HDMI path. When this happens the TV interprets that signal as RGB and causes it to modify what picture settings are allowed to be adjusted.
Our investigation revealed that your TV is functioning according to our original design specifications. The problem you've encountered with certain picture adjustments being unavailable was unforeseen and we are looking to improve the customer experience on future models.

Wait a minute.....this sounds like there is no solution for our TV's. Other TV's manage this ""problem" effectively. Your TV apparently does not.
Do I understand correctly, that we are left holding the bag here?

I just bought this tv today not knowing of this issue but I hooked up my Xbox 360 with HDMI and have the same issue. I was able to fix it by going into the system settings on the xbox and changing my HDMI color space from RGB to YCbCr709 and it worked. The picture quality is waaay better now. I was debating taking the tv back myself but I'm not now. Hope this helps.
