I would suggest that you return the TV as a Dead on Arrival unit. Try to get them to give you a full refund and buy a reputable TV, such as a Panasonic. They are assembled in Mexico BUT with parts made and supplied by manufacturer in Japan. They offer an extended warranty also for a full three years and cost is reasonable. Insignia has a lot of complaints on the internet. Most people are not raving about their products.

I have the same problem, what are the steps to take to fix it? You only mention "If You did this" and no solution/direction.
I've had this TV for a month now and this has only started happening recently. I would hate to take it back and get my money back.

Hello,
What happened with me was that I had an optical cord plugged into the back when I shut off my TV. Then when I woke up the problem occurred so I reported it here. After a while I unplugged that specific cord and strangly it worked. It also does the same thing with the USB. I would just try unplugging everything and see if it works then.
Thanks,
Tyler

I don't have an optical cord plugged in, just the HDMI cable and the Cable In.
I'll unplug those and plug them in and see what happens. Did you unplug the power as well?

Yes I did. Hope it works!

Thank you! I did all of that and I'm waiting to see what happens. So that fixed your issue? I wonder what causes this.

Yes it was really strange because I just got it and that happened. Yes that fixed my issue.
