I have a 20" IS-TV040919 that's been sitting in the same place it's sat for the past four/five years. I moved it today and noticed a slight burned spot on the wood of the cabinet, and noticed a cut in the cord WHEN I GOT SHOCKED. Turns out, there's no cutout/path for the power cord to get from the front-ish of the TV, where it comes out of the cabinet to the back. A channel seems to be there, but the end of the channel is closed. So basically, I've got the replace the cord, then either cut the channel in the chassis, or set the TV on blocks so it no longer sits on the cord. I've done some googling and haven't found a similar issue, but c'mon! Really, Insignia/BB?
Unlike other Insignia horror stories I've heard/read, this TV's been an OK TV (aside from DishNetwork remote code issues). But burning a table and giving me quite n electrical shock has turned me off Insignia, and probably Best Buy for good.
Anyone else have issues with this?
