...BUY ANYTHING OTHER THEN INSIGNIA.  feel free to google "INSIGNIA tv problems".  Mine has gone out twice in just over 2 years, and is no longer under warrently.  Look around, its par for the course here at INSIGNIA.  Your IINSIGNIA TV will last a couple of years.

You can google Sony, Samsung, LG  & even Panasonic (Consumer Reports top choice for reliability)  & will also find many dissatsfied customers that have had issues. TV's in general just don't last as long they used to, but am truly sorry your luck has been unfavorable with Insigna.

The reason I bought 2 Insignias is because everyone I know that has one has had no problems over at least a 4-5 year period. Both set's also get a frickin amazing picture, so I'm one happy camper!!

If you want me to believe that 2 years is normal, your talking to the wrong guy.  I'm glad you're happy, however judging by the amount of posts i see of customers having my same problem, I'd say your in the minority.  2 years is not the standard, regardless of your opinion.
