We have a 32" 1080p Insigna TV purchased in July of 2010, connected to Comcast cable through a Comcast-provided Motorola box, over the past few weeks the picture has started blinking in and out, the audio remains stable but the picture will go to black for a second or more before coming back, this happens over and over and the length of time the screen is black is getting longer. Can you give me an idea what is causing it and if there is anything we can do to fix it. No changes have been made to equipment, cable, etc. before this began.
Thanks.

Hello geevee,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
Try these steps: restore your TV to factory defaults via the on screen Menu. Afterward, power-cycle your TV by turning it off and unplugging it for at least an hour. If the problem persists, your TV may require repairs. Service can be obtained by carrying your TV in to the place of purchase. Remember to bring along your original receipt for validation of the factory warranty.

Thanks John, will give it a try and report back after the hour or so of unplugging.

Unfortunately that didn't improve the situation and the picture blinking out is becoming more frequent with lengthier spans of black before the picture comes back. Rather disappointing to have to have a TV only a year and a half old need to be serviced already.

Husband finally got tired of the picture blacking out and took it in for repair today - 3 weeks? Are they shipping it back to China? Rebuilding it piece by piece? I was annoyed that a barely year old television needed repairs so soon, but 3 weeks to fix it, how can this be?
