Hello ScottJones81,

Unfortunately JVC does not provide Insignia remote codes for the RM-SRX8030j.

Re: Insignia TV Remote Control Codes – Official Thread

I am attempting to program my DirectTV remote to control my NS-24E730A12 tv without success.  The remote is RC32.

I have tried the following codes. 10054, 10783, 10171, 11204, 11326, 11517, 11564, 11641, 11963, and 12002. Can you help?

Never mind Insignia.  I searched online and found people that had other codes besides the ones you suggested.  Code 11463 works.

Re: Insignia TV Remote Control Codes – Official Thread

We tried both this code and the code search.  Nothing happened, but I think the remote may be dysfunctional. With brand new fresh batteries, no light came on under the TV button when it was pressed. The manual says that button should activate a light when pressed.

Help with programming my roku player?

Hi! I lost the remote to my Roku XD player. I have an Insignia NS-42-E760A12 tv. I know there is a code to control the Roku (01486) but it doesn't seem to be working to program my Insignia tv remote. Is there a code that I don't know of? Any help would be appreciated. If this doesn't work, then I will probably have to buy a universal or replacement remote for my Roku.

Thanks!

Sony Blu Ray Remote Code

I have an Insignia 32" LCD 1080p (NSL32X-10A) that I am trying to sync with a Sony Blu-Ray Disc Player. The remote control model number for that device is RMT-B115A.

Re: Insignia TV Remote Control Codes – Official Thread

Hello DCF_1941,

I would suggest using the code search feature of the remote, to use this feature, please follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the TV.
  2. Press and hold "Code Search" on the remote.
  3. Press and release "TV", then release "Code Search".
  4. Press "On/Off" until the TV turns off, it could take up to 100 presses.
  5. Press "Enter" to save the code.

Re: Help with programming my roku player?

Hello Roku_user,

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

If the code published in the User Manual doesn't work, I recommend using the search feature:

  1. Turn on the device you want to control.
  2. Press the device button on your TV remote control (TV, BD/DVD, DVD, STB, or AUX) once.
  3. Press and hold SET until the red LED blinks twice, then release.
  4. Enter 9 9 1. The LED blinks twice.
  5. Press the number that matches your device type:

    • 0—Cable converters, video accessories, satellite receivers

    • 1—TVs

    • 2—VCRs, DVD players, Blu-ray Disc players

    • 3—Audio amplifiers, audio amplifiers/tuners, CD players

  6. Aim the remote at the device and press (power). The remote sends IR codes from its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code first. If the device responds, go to Step 8.
  7. If the device does not respond, press CH^  and the remote tests the next code for that device type. Continue to press CH^ until the device turns off.
  8. Now that you have found the correct code, press SET to save the code that worked for your device. The LED blinks twice to indicate that the code has been saved.
  9. To search for other device codes, repeat Steps 1 to 8.

John
