Dear Sir/Madam:

I have been trying to program my remote controls to my TV without success.  I need your help.

My Remote Control:  Deluxe Universal Remote -- Item #175056

My Other Remote Control:  GE Universal Remote -- Model # RC430A

My Other Remote Control:  RCA Universal Remote System-Link 4+ Model # RC400C

My TV Model:  Model: IS-TV040919 -- Insignia 20" Stereo TV

I tried codes and also code search with all three remote controls to no avail.  I would like to be able to use my Deluxe Universal Remote control because it is the newest one that I got.  Please help me.

Hello Hectorfg,

If you have used the code search feature on all three of these remotes and you do not have control of the TV, then these remotes are unfortunately not compatible. The code search feature of a remote scans through all the available codes on the remote and tries them with the TV, so if the TV does not respond to any of the codes in the search, there is not a code available for that remote. I apologize for the inconvenience that this might cause.

Unfortunately there is not a code available for the RM-Y802 to control the NS-24E730A12. This remote also does not have a code search feature so there is not a way to search through all the codes to find a match. I apologize for this inconvenience.

My 92 year old mother just purchased a NS-15E720A12.  We have tried every code listed on the Xfinity User Guide as well as those on the Insignia Quick Setup Guide.  We also attempted searching for a code suggested by Xfinity using 9 - 9 - 1 without success. At 92 years of age she is not able to handle one remote for volume and turning off and on,  and the other for the cable box and changing channels.  

The remote provided by the cable company (Comcast)  - XFINITY Custom 3-Device universal remote control is preprogrammed at the factory to operate with an RCA TV.

We would appreciate any suggestions you can offer.

Comcast has sent me an xfinity box. Consequently, I need help to connect my Insignia TV (NS-40E560A11) to the xfinity Cicsco RNG-100 box. I have tried all manufactured code #s available and i still can not get the Comcast Infinity remote to work on the Insignia TV. Please help. Thank you, Linda

Hello Linda,

I would suggest using the code search feature of the remote, this can be done by following these steps:

1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press the "TV" button, then press and hold the "Setup" button until the TV light blinks twice.
3. Press 9 9 1, again the TV button will flash twice.
4. Press 1, the TV button will flash twice.
5. Point the remote at the TV and press the "Power" button on the remote. After pressing "Power" begin pressing "CH+" until the TV turns off.
6. Press "Setup" to lock the code, again the TV button will flash twice.

Unfortunately since you have tried the code search feature of your remote and have had no success. This means that there is not a code for the Comcast remote that is compatible with the NS-15E720A12. I apologize for this inconvenience.
