I just bought a 55 inch led tv.  It came with a Insignia remote NS-RC06A-11.  I am looking for a code and how to program my remote to my charter cable box.  It is a HD DVR.  If you need the modle number I can get that for you also.

Is there a way to use the advanced features of the TV's remote on the Dish remote? We VERY recently bought two insignias and our dogs just chewed one of the remotes up, rendering it completely useless. This particular TV needs to be able to be put into the gaming mode and back again. I have figured out how to make the Dish remote turn the TV on and off and adjust the volume, but I need to be able to use the zoom, the HDMI, etc. Any ideas?

If your Dish Network remote has learning capability, instructions for programming it will be in the User Manual. If needed, you may download a copy here. Alternatively, if you would like to purchase a replacement for the remote that was damaged, you may visit Partstore.com and search for your TV model number for a listing of available parts, including the remote.

Please remember that not every third-party universal remote control will provide full access to all functions of your TV. In some cases, a higher-end universal (or the factory remote) is required for best results.

We have Direct TV but the remote code is RC65 and there isn't a chocie for this one.

Remote control "insignia akb36157101" will not turn off my Sanyo standard 32 " TV. I followed instructions, "held down TV power botton while pressing either the up and down buttons. Also the Sanyo's remote will not work with the insignia converter, so at present I'm using both remotes.
