I've had this TV for a few months and it worked well. However yesterday i unpluged it and when I turn it on it says this.
"Main board has been changed. Please go into service mode and setup below options - type, local set, front color option"
I can't get any channel or imputs. I have looked thru the but see no menu service mode. Any ideas it has been a good tv so far and i want it to last.

This is a 42" Plasma, with the model number NS-42P650A11.

In regards to your concern, I strongly recommend you to reset the TV by unplugging it from the power supply for, at least , 1 hour. If the issue remains, press and hold the EXIT button for at least 20 seconds or until the message "Reset all setting to the default values" appears.
In case you are still not successful, with the TV on:
1.Press the MENU button and press the down arrow to highlight the SETUP option, then press ENTER.
2.Highlight the Plug and Play option, press the Enter button to confirm and go back to the initial setup wizard.
If any of this helps you, the TV would need to be checked and repaired. So, I would recommend you to contact our support line to be assisted on how to get the TV service. Please, remember to have the receipt handy so you can provide all the required information.

Since you've replied to a thread that is four months old, please confirm your TV model number and provide us with details of the problem you're experiencing. Alternatively, you can check to see if a firmware update is available for your TV by clicking on the Insignia logo at the top of this page and then searching for your TV model number. Click on the Support/Service tab for available downloads.

Hi John, im having the same trouble "Main board has been changed. Please go into service mode and setup below options - type, local set, front color option" with the same model number listed before, NS-42P650A11.
i've tried the steps your partner listed before and didn't work, also i couldnt find any available downloads in the service/support tab, only documents.

Hello Biggie,
Considering the fact that you have tried that previously stated troubleshooting steps and you are still seeing with the screen requesting service mode. I would suggest contacting us at 1-877-467-4289 to setup an in home repair service. The NS-42P650A11 has a 2 year warranty from date of purchase.

not to mention no sound, and screen being off center like 3/4 of the screen is cut off
