NS-22E430A10 - problem with black box appearing on screen

I have the 22" LED HDTV - NS-22E430A10.  When I am watching TV, there's a black box that appears.  The picture still appears around the black box.  I cut the TV off, then back on, and the black box goes away.  Then, it will come back.  Can anybody help?  I just purchased 5 months ago.

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

 

Seems that you may have the Closed Captions ON. Try pressing the CCD button on the upper right of your remote control to turn that feature OFF. You can also access the menu and on the Settings Tab, you will find Closed Captions and inside you can turn CC Mode OFF. Keep in mind that if you are using a cable box, the Closed Captions of the box may be on, in which case you will need to contact your provides to ask them how to turn them OFF.
