NS-42P650A11 Stuck in Store Demo Mode

I recently purchased the ns-42p650a11. It was a floor model and I have been trying to get rid of the little demo banner at the bottom of the screen for days now. I haven't found anything in the manual or the tv's menu to help me figure it out. So can someone help me out here? I'd greatly appreciate it! The banner is so annoying...

I have read the messages in this thread including the one indicating the answer which stated that setup needed to be run again. However, mine is already in Plug and Play mode but it still shows "Store Demo" if you select Display and the annoying little banner continues to show up about every 5 minutes. What I believe is different in my situation is that I've been using this TV for over a year and is just started out of the blue yesterday.

Any suggestions?

Hello kjohnson0108,

Plug and play is not necessarily a mode in the TV, but instead when that option is chosen in the menu the initial setup will run again. You simply need to make sure that "Home" mode is chosen when you run through the setup.

 

As to why your TV has suddenly started displaying the retail banner, I am uncertain. The steps to resolve however remain the same.
