NS-DXA1 Converter

On our NS-DNA1 Converter, upon being turned on, the Power light on the converter flashes blue.  The "manual" mentions that this indicates "Receiving remote control signal" on pp. 2 and 5, whatever that means.  There is no sign of any other reference to a remote control signal.  While flashing, the TV set, properly connected and working correctly previously, cycles repeatedly through each of the channels with no picture.

Re: NS-DXA1 Converter

Hello tredraslon,

The issue you are describing seems to indicate either one of two issues. The first possible issue is that the remote for the converter has a button stuck down and is sending a continuous signal. To test this, remove the batteries from the remote and see if the converter continues flashing blue. If it does continue flashing, then this means that it is the second possible issue, which would be the fact that the converter is experiencing a hardware related issue. If the latter is the case, then I would advise taking the converter, along with the receipt, to the place of purchase to obtain service.

Regards,
Zac
