NS-L46Q120-10A input lag when playing xbox360

Hey guys, The problem is pretty straight forward. It takes a split second longer than it should take when pressing buttons, etc on my 360 controller. Before someone tells me to go read the sticky about this, I did. My "DCM" is set to off on my system and I have even tried using the tricks for the other models, such as connecting to Component #2. Still, there is response lag when trying to navigate or play video games. Even though the lag has been greatly reduced from before changing the DCM setting, there is still a small amount of lag. It may not sound like much but it is the difference between winning and losing with split second reactions. The TV ought to have some sort of function to have NO lag whatsoever. I've had several problems with my Insignia TV, but the previous problems have been patched or workedaround to get it to fix. All I need is for the lag to go away and I will be satisfied with my product Thanks!

Re: NS-L46Q120-10A input lag when playing xbox360

Hello Delkral,

Image lag will be due to image processing. The more process is done to the picture, the more lag you will have (the TV takes some milliseconds to do this). The way to reduce the lag will be to turn all enhancements off, meaning:  Color temperature (Normal), Noise Reduction (off), Blue Stretch (off), DCM (off), Advanced Contrast (off).

You can also reset to factory default's the TV's options, and check if the lag disappears, and if you are connecting a receiver, splitter or any other device between the game and the TV, change that to a direct connection.

If it was useful, and you liked it, Kudo it!

Thank you,
Gonza

Re: NS-L46Q120-10A input lag when playing xbox360

After trying all of this, there is still a slight amount of input lag when using my xbox 360 controller. I tried to play on other TV's, and no such problem occurs.
