Is there any way to dim the backlight on the NS-LCD26F? The only way I found is to use the "energy saver" setting but this dims it almost at 50% which is too much.

When left to default settings, the backlight is fine if the room is well lit but it makes watching the TV during the evening unenjoyable.

Unfortunately you cannot modify the backlight brightness on this TV. Sorry for the inconvenience.
