About once every two days or so, no matter what is being watched (DVD, antenna television,etc.), the picture goes to a whitish "snow" like what old TV's used to show when you were using an antenna and turned to a channel with no broadcast.
Turning the TV off and back on corrects the problem, but I am very concerned since the set is only 8 months old, and it is intermittent enough that I am afraid I won't be able to fix it under warranty. You know, the old syndrome where you take your car to the mechanic to show him a noise or problem and the car won't do it in front of him? I suspect I would go to the trouble of shipping it or whatever only to have them tell me it did nothing wrong for them. Remember, it can go many hours without doing it, so a technician might well not ever see the problem.
Suggestions, ideas? Anyone heard of this issue?
