Hey, I have the Insignia 42" Plasma NS-42P650A11 and am using my comcast cable box remote (silver color)  to control the TV the code that works for this remote is 10463  hope this helps.

Help me please.  My Insignia TV is a IS-TV040925.  I don't have the remote.  I am trying to hook up to Verizon FIOS.  Their remote is an RC144 5302 /  00B.  What is the device code to use?  0198 does not work.

Hello cpettitt,

A copy of the owner's manual can be downloaded here.  Available parts for your TV can be purchased here, but it doesn't appear that a factory remote control is available.  If the scan/learn feature of your remote control doesn't find a usable code, I recommend considering a higher end universal remote; I've had good luck controlling numerous devices with mine.

Hi,

I need a remote control code to use a Comcast remote with our Insignia TV.  

The remote control is a Comcast remote control.  It doesn't have a model number listed, but it seems that their two main remotes either have red "OK" button or a gray "OK" button.  Ours has a red "OK" button.

Our TV model number is NS-42L550A11.

We spoke with Comcast and they had us try a number of 5-digit codes, but none of them worked.  Their is a 4-digit Comcast code listed in our manual but this type of Comcast remote doesn't work with 4-digit codes (and they think that code may be out of date).

I realized you are looking for some additional code for the Verizon Bios Remote Control model number RC144 5302 and after extensive research in different information sources including the User's Manual from the control itself seem this remote doesn't any other 4 digit code in it's code memory than 0198, even though we are aware about other 4 digit code that Verizon uses for our TV's but we did not pulled this code from Verizon's database regarding your remote control model number still will do no harm to test it down, the code will be 0490.

If the code 0490 doesn't work with some or all functions, then the only option we have left is to try the codes for the compatible brands that uses a similar IR receivers for their TV's than we do and they will Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, Zenith.

Just in case you do not have or kept the User's Manual from your remote control, here are the codes pulled from it regarding the already listed brands that uses compatible IR receivers:
