I have an Insignia TV and Toshiba BDX2500.  I need the method to program the remote since I cannot find the manual for the remote control.  What are the codes for the Toshiba?

It should be easier to find this..

Codes for Insignia TVs are included in the programming guide for your remote control.  You can download a copy at the TDS website for more details.  Try codes 0171, 1204, 1326, 1517, 1963, and 2002.  Let us know your results.

Please read the first post in this thread and reply to it with the requested information.  Details such as which remote control you intend to use with which device would be very helpful.

A copy of the user guide for your Blu-ray player can be found here.  The remote control does not appear to be a universal, so you would not be able to use it to control your TV.

Try this: remove the batteries from your remote control, press all of its buttons and install fresh batteries.  This will resolve many remote control problems.

Sony provides a handy tool for finding remote control codes for your TV.  While Insignia is not listed, you may try the codes for Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, or Zenith as they are compatible.  Let us know your results!

Hey there!

So I have the Insignia NS-RC06A-11 that came with my 32" LCD and I'm attempting to program in my Yamaha RX-V467 receiver.  About half the codes in the manual work for volume and tuner adjustments, but no matter what, the remote won't power the thing on.

Please help!  I don't expect this remote to do everything, but I'd atleast like to have a one button input option for my household.

Hello

I just bought an Insignia TV and cant get the remote to program to the TV. The Dish installation tech also tried to find teh code for quite a while and was not successful.  Here is the info you need:

         -   Remote = DISH Network 6.4 UHF PRO Remote

- TV  = Insignia 42 inch model number NS- 42L550A11

Ive tried code 720, code 520, 531 and a whole bunch of others that are listed on this and other websites but nothing has worked. 

Please help: What code do I need to use????

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

The codes listed in the Yamaha owner's manual for Insignia are 0131, 0228, 0236, and 0238.  You may also try codes for Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, and Zenith as their codes are compatible with our TVs.  Remember, however, that a universal remote will not control all TVs and that the factory remote (or a higher end universal) may be required to access all of the features of your TV.

I'm wanting to use my Insignia remote, not the Yamaha one.  I've tried all of the codes in the Insignia manual for the Yamaha receiver, but can only get some functionality.  I just want to be able to power on the receiver and switch inputs with the Insignia remote.
