Hi mcie2 and welcome to the forum.
Most cable and universal remote will only control the basic functions of the TV (power on/off, channel up/down and volume up/down).
Unfortunately we cannot assure full compatibility of other functions.

Gonzo

Hi kizner and welcome to the forum.
Please use code 135 for programming the RCA remote with your Insignia TV. If this does not work, please try suggested codes contained in the remote user manual for the following brands: Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, Zenith.
As an alternative you can try using the Learning feature for your universal remote (if any).
Unfortunately there are no codes for the Insignia NS-DVD1 DVD Player.

Gonzo

Hello, my tv model number is NS-LCD26A. I lost my remote awhile back and didn't really care for it ahaha but it was a bit bothersome. Anyway I bought a Samsung Blue-ray player and there was no code in the manual for a Insignia tv are there any possible codes I could use? It requires a two digit number.
Also I've tried Zenith and it doesn't have a code for Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania

Hey thanks for replying but yeah the Samsung model number is BDP1600.
On a side note if it isn't possible; whats the best universal remote I could get that will allow me to use both of them.

Hi firstone,
Please try the following codes:
450, 461, 456
Should these not work, please check the user's guide for your remote to see if there's another code available or if your remote has a Learning function that will automatically scan for the code.
Regards,
Gonzo
