Remote Control Codes

[ Edited ]

Hello Insignia™ Enthusiasts!

Welcome to Community@Insignia™!

We're very interested in making sure that you get the most out of your Insignia™ products, and that includes using your universal remote controls.  Many remote control codes can be found on the product support pages of our website.  If you're still having trouble finding a code, we want to help.  Here's what we need you to provide so that we can get you what you need:

  • The remote control manufacturer and model number.
  • The model number of your TV.
  • Any additional details about your situation that might help us help you.

If you reply to this message with the your information, we'll start working to get you an answer.

We also ask that you remember that most universal remote controls don't offer all of the functionality of your original Insignia™ TV controller, but we'll do our best to make sure that you get the most out of your universal remote!

Regards,
John

Re: Remote Control Codes

I own an NS-14FTC and have lost the remote control. I have a universal remote control made by One For All, model number URC-4220. Can you tell me what code will work with this combination of products?

Re: Remote Control Codes

I've got an Insignia IS-TV040920.

I need to get it talking to my ATT U-Verse remote.

Not sure of the manufacturer of the remotes that ATT is distributing with the U-Verse system, but the set-top box appears to be made by Cisco.

Re: Remote Control Codes

Hello,

I have an insignia tv-040919 connected to comcast digital cable with their remote, it seems that the auto scan from comcast did not work to connect the remote to the tv, nor did the codes listed on your website for this particular model. I would like to know it there is some thing else that I could do. I would appreciate any help that could be offered.

Thank you,

Rowen

Re: Remote Control Codes

I bought an NS-LTDVD32-09 and connected up my Xbox 360 to it wich is being used as a Media Extender. I am trying to program the Xbox 360™ Universal Media Remote (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360universalremote/) to turn my TV on and off and adjust the volume but I can not find the correct codes anywhere.

Can someone help?

Re: Remote Control Codes

I just purchased a Insignia NS-L26Q-10 and have a universal remote for AT&T U-Verse.  Could you please provide the code to communicate with this controller?  The information I found on my controller is as follows:

3139 228 67392

Thanks

Dave

Re: Remote Control Codes

The only thing that looks like it may be a model number are two stickers in with the batteries. Those numbers are C091503 and 1067BC3-0001-R. I have two comcast remotes in my home and these numbers are both different from the second remote. I hope this helps.

Thank you,

Rowen
