Hello, I havean Insignia NS-22E450A11. I would like my dish network remote to control the tv completely. I used 720 as the code but, while it turns the tv off, it will not turn the tv back on. My remote model number? Hmm not sure which number it is. Can you give me a clue about how many numbers etc.? Marilyn

Hi all. Just wanted to let anyone still suffering with code issues, I've found a solution. I have an Insignia 26" TV/DVD combo Model: NS-LTDVD26. I recently added a Cox Communications digital cable box to it. I also have a Wii game system and stereo connected. Everything worked fine until I added the cable box. The cable universal remote just would NOT work the built in DVD player or allow a change of input to av for Wii play. I bought a Universal (brand name) universal remote model URC-A6 hoping to resolve the problem. This remote can learn functions from other remotes. While I did have issues at first getting it to work the DVD player, with some help from tech support it now works EVERYTHING!. I did wind up having to speak to a supervisor (for other reasons), but he solved it all. His name is Anthony. According to him, this remote should be able to control just about anything out there currently. Now my remote works the cable box, stereo, TV, AND built in DVD player. The remote controls six devices, and is only about $20 at Bestbuy.

Hello Marilyn,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
In order to provide you with a code, if available, I'll need to know the Dish Network's box model number (will say something like DVR or PVR and some numbers)
Meanwhile try with codes 068, 069, 078, 096, 100, 164, 168, 229 or 026, that are some generic ones for satellite TV, and you can also contact Dish Network and try the codes provided by them for Insignia, Orion, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania, Zenith.
If it was useful, and you liked it, Kudo it!
Thank you,

Can you tell me what remote code I should use to program an RCA model RCR3273R universal remote for use with an Insignia NS-40E560A11?
So far I have found several codes that work partially: they turn the set on and off; they change channels and volume settings. The INFO and Guide buttons work. What DOESN'T work is the menu. Well it works partially. When the menu comes up on the screen, it is showing the controls to change the picture settings. I can use the four arrows and the OK button to make selections in that menu, but I can't change to another menu. In particular, I need to get to the "channels" menu to do a channel search. According to the NS-40E560A11 instruction manual, pressing the left or right arrow buttons on the remote should do this. It doesn't; it makes changes in the picture menu. No button on the remote will move the menu selection to another menu, and there doesn't seem to be a way to do this without the remote, so I'm stuck right now.
In more detail: after pressing MENU one uses the left/right arrows to chose the particular menu, then the up/down arrows to chose an item on that menu, then the left/right arrows again to adjust that item. In my case, after pressing MENU, the left/right arrows start to make adjustments on whichever picture menu item is selected when the menu comes up, so I can't change to another menu.
Thanks

I bought a NS-WBRDVD and I want it to work with my NS-46L550A11 remote. I can't seem to find the code anywhere.

Hello Marilyn,
For that remote you may also try codes: 590, 627, 652, 654, 675, 683, 694 or 720. Keep in mind that these codes are for using in TV mode, but if you program the remote in AUX mode, you will need to press 0 before entering the code.
If any of those worked, please post it so other users can take advantage of that information!
If it was useful, and you liked it, Kudo it!

Hello jimmyATcofc,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
Most basic universal remotes will only control basic features of the TV, such as On/Off and volume. For other features, a more advanced universal remote or the original factory remote control may be required. In this case, for your channel scan, I'd recommend using the factory remote control, then using your universal for day-to-day operation of the TV.

John

Hello rsaldana1980,
Welcome to Community@Insignia™!
There is no particular code for the player, but you can use the search feature the remote has and you should be able to find a compatible code. If you experience any problem, please let me know!

Hello,
I just purchased a Universal Replacement Remote Distributed Model # 3300IM by CT Global, Inc, 2305 Hurstbourne Village Dr. Suite 1000, Louisville, KY 40299. The distributor also has a website www.oneforall.com.
I have an Insignia LCD Color TV and DVD Video Player Model NS-LDVD19Q-10A. The bar code on the insignia is 09H10A1693A.
I have not been able to find the correct remote code. Can anyone help me? All I'm trying to do is turn the unit on, regulate volume and change channels.
thanks-
j.
