If the TV is getting the red light we know that it is receiving power. The issue is that the TV cannot turn on and it will need to be repaired. Do you know if you purchased an extended warranty with the TV?

At this point I would recommend speaking with a repair technician. They will be able to further diagnose the issue and get you a quote on repairs.

My Insignia Ns-42E480A13 has the same problem. I've tried the reset, but no joy. The little red light at bottom left stays lit, but nothing else happens.
Has anyone replaced the power board and fixed this problem?

No Jon, that did not solve the problem. Looking at all the post aparently this has been a problem for going on at least three years now.
I recently (less than a year) purchased a 32" Insigna TV (s/n 15B0501465 model NS-32D220NA15 REV B) on recommendation from a Best Buy employee. Understandable now that it seems that you keep asking if a Geek Squad extended warrenty was purschased.
Since it's been a problem for so long it's clearly a design flaw and some offer of repair or replacement should be made.

I have the same question: has anyone tried replacing the power board? I'm considering doing so as it's only $30 to buy a new one. Any update on that?
Also, my tv "on" light blinks red, sometimes TV will turn on, but only for a second, up to maybe 10 seconds, then shuts off. Shows Insignia logo and sometimes I have enough time to change inputs. I've tried all of the unplugging, holding power button type things, nothing has changed.
Also, the box on the charging cord has a solid green light and yes I have made sure it is plugged in all the way to the TV.

I replaced my power board, that didn't help. I just replaced the main board, and now the TV works. Unfortunately, the picture is upside down. I'll have to figure out why.
Total for both boards was about $70. Cheaper then a new 42 incher.

I'm having the same issue, I have tried all the resets, different outlets, my set is only 6 months old, bought it in Feb, I didn't get the extended warranty, so I'm not sure on my options, and if I need to replace the power board as I have read, where do I get that? Will the Geek Squad be able to assist me?
