Updated software for NS-42E859A11

I'd like to know if ongoing updates to the Tivo/TV software any of the Insignia TV's ever get updated and how often?


Or, does Insignia just stop supporting the software for their products?


I'm so let down by this purchase as it's not the same "screen" as it appeared at Best Buy.  This is the last time I get an off brand TV.

Firmware updates are prepared and released on an as needed basis, so there is no schedule for them that we can publish. Currently, no updates are available for your TV.


I'm disheartened to hear about your unhappiness with the TV picture quality, but I stand by my statements in the other thread to which you posted: picture calibration is highly subjective, so there aren't one-for-all settings that we can provide. You may wish to consider a professional calibration service to get the best picture for your environement.
