My tv is the 55" LED ns-55e790a12. I have my xbox connected via the component inputs, running at 720p. After approximately 30 minutes, the TV shuts itself off.
I see other threads discussing this same issue for other smaller LED models, and it looks like there was a firmware update for at least one of those models, but I don't see any discussion for this particular TV.
Is there a firmware update? Is this a known issue for this particular TV? Is there a fix?

Hello bcwhitney,
Sorry for the delay in my response. I have sent your issues to our engineering team for further research. In the mean time, would it be possible for you to connect the Xbox to a different TV? This would allow us to see if the issue is with the Xbox or the TV.

Hello bcwhitney,
Would it be possible for you to connect a DVD or Blu-ray player via component cables to the TV? This would be a good way to test you component connections. Also, are there any other inputs or devices that this issue occurs with, or is it only with the Xbox on component?

I currently have a DVD player hooked up to an HDMI, and I have not experienced the same issue with it. To answer your first query, I had the Xbox connected to a different TV for several years before getting the new TV and never had a similar problem. I will see if I can find another device to connect to the component inputs to see if I can duplicate the problem with something other than the Xbox.

Hello bcwhitney,
I have consulted with our engineering team and they have informed me that it is likely that your TV is experiencing a hardware related issue. As a result, I would suggest contacting our support line, so that we may setup an in-home service appointment under warranty to resolve your issue.
