I just purchased a NS-51P680A12 and I have been trying to connect the audio cables from the Tv into my Onkyo TX- DS555 reciever..My onkyo system does not have any HDMI ports only RC plugs. Needless to say I get no sound at all...I know my Onkyo system ports work,because I had a Sylvania brand Tv hooked up to my reciever before. Any help will be appreciated...Thanks

Unfortunately, this TV does not feature a composite (RCA) audio output. You may connect by digital audio optical cable if your Onkyo receiver has a compatible port. I ran into a similar situation with my new TV and an older Harman Kardon receiver. My ultimate solution was not part of my original home theater plan -- I replaced the receiver -- but I've been very happy with the result.

Thanks for the info John, I will try your method of the optical cable..the Onkyo reciever does have a port for it. Hopefully that will work...If not, oh well guess I will not be listening to any sport events in surround sound. Thanks again....Sal
